FAQ

1.What can I find inside?

Inside the Ocean City Museum you find everything from an authentic shrunken head, to the world's rarest egg, two headed animals, spinning tunnel and unique works of art. The museum consist of 12 themed galleries containing over 500 mind boggling exhibits, oddities and curiosities.

2.How long does it take to tour the museum?

Allow at least 45 minutes to an hour (or longer) to tour the museum.

3.Can I take pictures?

Pictures are allowed, and we have several great picture opportunities thru out the museum, including the Spanish Humiliation Stockade, our Torture chair, the Giant Tire, Our Shark cage, and our 24K car.

4.Where can I park?

Paid Parking is available in the inlet parking lot (April 15- Oct15). Oct 16-Apr14 it's free.
Guests also have the option of utilizing the Ocean City Public Transportation Buses.
There is also Park and Ride 1mile away from the museum on the other side of the bridge. Guests can park their car for free and ride the bus for $1.00 over the bridge. The bus stop is 2 blocks away from the museum.

5.Is the museum wheelchair accessible?

The museum is wheelchair and stroller friendly, with an elevator for guest to use.

6.What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Cash, Travelers Checks and all the major Credit Cards

7.Can I set up a class trip?

Field Trips are always welcome. We offer a special rate of $5.99 for all students thru high school. We offer one complimentary admission for chaperones with every 10 paid student admissions. Any additional adults are charged at $8.99 each.
In addition to our scavenger hunt that we sell at the counter, we also have one that we will email to the teachers if they want to print it out and bring with them.
We also have a supplemental Education Guide available for teachers and home school guest.
